Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa is pleased to announce the grand opening of the new Italian Village which took place on January 20 2009.

The $125 million expansion adds to the resort an Italian flair with 162 luxurious Italian-themed family suites with separate custom-built bedrooms for parents and kids.

The kids’ bedrooms feature bunk beds, 27” plasma TVs and XBOX® game consoles.

The new part also includes a 7,000 sq. ft. retail area with a candy shop and an art gallery, 5 gourmet restaurants including an Italian with Medieval-themed children’s section.

Guests can “splash” the day away at the new expanded Pirates Island Waterpark with 7 new slides, a lazy river, a splash deck and a surf simulator.
